Court Grants Miyetti Allah President Bello Bodejo N2bn Bail in Money Laundering Case

The Federal High Court in Abuja has granted bail to Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore National President Bello Bodejo in the sum of N2 billion over alleged money laundering involving $2.63 million.​

Justice Inyang Ekwo ruled that the offences against the defendant are bailable and ordered Bodejo to produce two sureties in like sum. One surety must be a resident of Abuja with three years’ tax clearance, while the second must own landed property worth N2 billion within the FCT.

Bodejo was also ordered to surrender his international passport and barred from travelling without the court’s permission. The case was adjourned to October 5–7, 2026, for trial.
