Governor Soludo: Tinubu Rebuilding South-East, Healing Civil War Wounds with Road Projects

Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo says President Bola Tinubu is carefully reconstructing the south-east through critical infrastructure projects, including two strategic highways linking Anambra to Kogi, Imo and Abia states.​

In a post on X, Soludo said Tinubu had approved the design and procurement of the dualisation of the 108-kilometre Otuocha–Anam–Abaji road and the 150-kilometre Oba–Nnewi–Uga–Ihube road.

Soludo described the approvals as “history in itself” and “critical game-changers” for the south-east and adjoining regions. He said Tinubu “continues to demonstrate his avowed commitment to orchestrating the reconstruction of the Southeast, thereby finally healing the wounds of the Civil War.” The governor thanked Tinubu for approving the projects, adding that “history will be kind to you.”
